Keywords are the heart of SEO and they always will be. They are part of the bigger picture that needs to be seen around authority and the human usability of a website.

We strongly advise when writing text in any context, that you set out your primary keyword/s. These are the the strongest search term/s in your given topic that your customers are looking for. These are usually the keywords that drive the most traffic, or they can be of the more niche kind. As a rule if you’re unsure, stick to 1-2 primary keywords per blog post or product description. You can then repeat these keywords (if they fit nicely of course) in your meta title and meta description, as well as your alt attributes, slug etc. Proper distribution of your SEO keywords, is very important. Finding that mix between the human element and what gets cooking for the Google algorithm is the key to your well optimized content. How many secondary keywords for good SEO? Well there shouldn’t be a number here, these are keywords that will automatically be picked up around your given topic, so try not to think about these ones too much.
